Suicide Squad #35
"Drain the Swamp Part 1" delivers a sharp, high-stakes chapter in the Suicide Squad’s ongoing struggle, as the government unveils a new super soldier, The Wall, threatening to replace the team. Written by Rob Williams and illustrated by Eduardo Pansica with inks by Júlio Ferreira, colors by Adriano Lucas, and letters by Pat Brosseau, the issue balances tense missions—like the Squad’s dangerous attempt to capture the volatile Damage—with personal stakes, as Waller reconnects with her family amid emotional distance. Meanwhile, back at Belle Reve, a cyber assault from the resurrected Hack puts the facility on edge. The cover, by Ethan Van Sciver, captures the tension with striking precision.
