Suicide Squad #2
In "Game, Set, Match," the Suicide Squad is split in two: while Peacemaker’s team clashes with Swamp Thing in a surreal, high-stakes confrontation, the rest of the team finds themselves trapped in Hell, facing off against the Hell Squad—dead former members of the team with personal vendettas against Waller. As chaos unfolds across dimensions, Waller dispatches Ambush Bug on a dangerous mission to retrieve a crucial package, all while Rick Flag quietly assembles a new squad with plans to turn on their former commander. Written by Robbie Thompson and illustrated by Eduardo Pansica, with inks by Júlio Ferreira and Dexter Soy, and colors by Marcelo Maiolo, this issue’s cover by Pansica and Ferreira captures the escalating tension with striking, hellish detail.
