Studio Epix #16 (3/1989)
Published in 1989 by the Swedish comics magazine Studio Epix, this sixteenth issue brings readers "Turkosstaden" — a story crafted entirely by François Bourgeon, who handled the writing, art, inking, and coloring himself. Bourgeon's cover work, also inked by his own hand, promises the same meticulous visual storytelling found throughout his career. With lettering by Birgitta Ekstrand and a Swedish adaptation by Lena Ekeram, this issue offers a richly collaborative presentation of Bourgeon's singular vision.
