This collection brings together the baseball-themed comic strips from the Crankshaft series, originally published in newspapers, into a single volume. Featuring the cranky but lovable bus driver Ed Crankshaft and his family, the strips focus on his passion for the game, his interactions with his daughter Pam and grandson Mindy, and the humorous ups and downs of a small-town baseball team. Published by Kent State University Press in 2014, this book compiles a selection of daily and Sunday strips centered on the sport that defines much of Crankshaft's life.
