David Lapham's Stray Bullets: Sunshine & Roses continues with issue #5, "Three Cheers for Roses," and the cover sets a perfectly moody tone — a curly-haired woman holds a pistol while peering through venetian blinds, pink light cutting across the shadows in a way that's equal parts glamour and danger. Lapham's linework captures that signature tension the series does so well, blending noir atmosphere with an almost darkly playful energy.
