David Lapham's Stray Bullets: Sunshine & Roses continues its gritty, character-driven ride with issue #13, "Well-Oiled Machine." The cover says plenty: three figures sit side by side — a wary blonde woman with a handgun, a boldly smiling brunette woman in lingerie, and a nervous young man clutching a notebook — an odd, tense trio against a graffiti-tagged backdrop that feels equal parts danger and dark comedy.
