Strangers in Paradise #45
"In My Life" marks a quiet yet pivotal moment in Terry Moore’s Strangers in Paradise, as the lives of the core characters begin to diverge in unexpected ways. With Moore handling every aspect of the art and storytelling, the issue captures intimate, emotional turns—Francine returning to Houston alone, Freddie’s failed attempt to reconnect, and the slow unraveling of relationships that have long defined the group. As David leaves Katchoo with a note and she reaches out to Francine, the story lingers on the fragile threads of connection, all rendered in Moore’s signature style, cover by Moore.
