Stranger Things #[5]

This 2023 Mana Books release, Stranger Things: La Tombe de Ybwen, features a striking cover by Kyle Lambert that pulls together a crowd of memorable faces — a wide-eyed, heavyset man dominates the foreground, while a young boy, a mustachioed figure, and a group of teens gather behind him, all framed by a looming skull and a dagger-like spike emerging from a treasure-map backdrop. The vintage adventure-poster aesthetic gives the whole composition a wonderfully eerie, pulpy energy that feels right at home in the Stranger Things universe. With Greg Pak and Diego Galindo among the creative team, fans of the franchise have plenty of reason to pick this one up.
