Strange Terrors #3 is an anthology containing at least two stories. "The Ghost Who Ruled Crag Heights" depicts a supernatural entity that haunts a location, while "The Horror of Kila Mountain" follows an expedition on a Himalayan peak where climbers encounter strange, muscular beings in the clouds; the narrative then shifts to a man named Dexter breaking into an old house to steal jewels from a wall-safe, only to be confronted by the homeowner, leading to a desperate chase involving small green creatures or beings that attack both men. A third story features Bob Hallowell and fellow prisoners escaping from custody and battling yellow-skinned alien or otherworldly creatures.

Two young Americans, Robert Hallowell and his guide Dave Marks, arrive at the ruins of ancient Babylon seeking material for a story—but when Hallowell vanishes in the night, Marks discovers the mounds hide a secret: a thriving underground city of tiny, mummy-like beings who have survived for thousands of years using a mysterious healing ray. Trapped inside a massive idol and forced to witness an unholy scheme of enslaved hypnotized workers, Hallowell and Marks must find a way to expose the truth before they become permanent prisoners themselves.
