This anthology issue contains three stories: "The Barking Dog," in which Arthur Ames becomes concerned when his dog Fritz exhibits unusual behavior and heightened senses, detecting a prowler in the neighborhood that turns out to be connected to a malfunctioning lamp; "The Lucky Ones," featuring four space explorers—Captain Nebo Carson, Navigator Halpern, Engineer Craft, and Scientist Grayson—who embark on humanity's first galactic time flight with the control to warp the time spectrum, allowing them to reach distant galaxies in minutes; and "The Heat Worshipper," in which a mysterious figure named Ranga broadcasts hypnotic messages over television and radio, compelling the city's population to abandon their duties and worship him, ultimately revealing his plan for world domination.
