When the plot is discovered and their ranks depleted, the remaining terrorists pursue Valentine for betrayal, while a climactic confrontation in the Himalayan mountains ensues involving the characters Charles, Helfand, and Rod, with one man ultimately going over a cliff edge. The story concludes with a violent struggle where a young boy fights alongside adults against enemies, including a reference to "Robin Hood," amid themes of sacrifice and warfare.
