"The Day That Saturn Struck!" depicts a massive alien craft attacking Earth, with a radio operator discovering something deadly in his room while investigating strange occurrences. "The World Below" follows a deep-sea diver named Howard who discovers an underwater civilization filled with gold and treasures, only to become trapped in the watery grave and desperate to escape. A second story appears to involve children named Rickie and Dickie playing with a game box that traps dimensional beings, with one child accidentally sent into space.
When eruptions on Saturn free ancient fire-beings imprisoned in the planet's depths, Professor Henry Malvern—a disgraced astronomer no one believed—finds himself captured along with his daughter Adora and her companion Lank Halsey, whisked away to witness the creatures' terrible plan. Now the one man who warned Earth of Saturn's danger must face the beings determined to silence him before they unleash destruction on his world. "The Day That Saturn Struck!" delivers high-stakes cosmic peril as our trio confronts enemies born from the fires of another planet.
A radio amateur discovers he's captured something impossible on tape—a signal that kills anything within earshot—and when military officials dismiss his warnings, he takes matters into his own hands with devastating consequences. As his deadly recording spreads beyond his control, the narrator realizes too late that no one will believe the truth about what he's unleashed. A chilling tale of a weapon born from obsession and the terrible price of being right when no one will listen.
A deep-sea diver pursuing the legendary riches of a sunken Spanish galleon descends beyond safe limits and discovers an impossible underwater kingdom where half-men, half-fish inhabitants welcome visitors with air and hospitality. When he attempts to escape with the kingdom's treasure, he learns too late why none of the countless divers who came before him ever returned to the surface.
A vindictive toy-maker in Centertown creates a sinister game box that traps tormenting neighborhood boys Dickie and Rickie in another dimension—then banishes them to space, finally reclaiming his peaceful shop. When a new, seemingly angelic boy named Todwaller arrives to disturb his hard-won tranquility, Mr. Grisby discovers too late that his own terrible toy has a way of turning on its creator.
