The first, "Weird and Strange," follows Fred Kane, a man consumed by jealous love who kills his rival Bonnie's boyfriend. Seeking escape from his guilt, Fred confesses to Bonnie, only to be caught and sent to an asylum where he endlessly repeats his confession, never believed and forever tormented by his deed. The second story, "A Debt to the Devil," involves Trudy George, an ordinary girl in financial distress who encounters a devilish figure at a cemetery graveyard and makes a dark bargain that ultimately changes her destiny and the fate of those around her. In a third story visible on the final page, boxer Phil faces off against a spectral or supernatural opponent in what appears to be a supernatural wrestling match orchestrated by mysterious forces.
In "Zombie Vengeance," a stranded aviator stumbles upon a mysterious house in Haiti, where he’s welcomed by a strange community of zombies. As he forms a bond with a zombie woman, he must flee the relentless pursuit of the undead horde and their snarling zombie dogs. With danger closing in, he makes a fateful choice—to stay in Haiti and embrace a new life among the dead.
In "Death Thumbs a Ride," a man driven by jealousy commits a brutal act, burying his unfaithful wife and her lover in the basement before fleeing with a secret he can’t escape. On a road to Mexico, he picks up a mysterious hitchhiker whose skeletal form seems to know more than it should.
In "You Can't Cheat a Ghost," three desperate criminals chase a legend, only to find the past is far more dangerous than they imagined. When one of them pretends to be the ghost of a long-dead pirate, the real spirit has other plans—and the sea demands its due.
In "Night of Horror," a struggling horror writer desperate for inspiration retreats to a silent cinema, only to wake alone in the darkened theater and stumble into a terrifyingly real nightmare. As he screens the film he believes he's found his perfect story, the line between fiction and dread begins to blur in ways he never imagined.
