This issue contains two stories: "Skull House" follows Matt Barnes of the New York Police as he investigates a mysterious shop in Haiti run by a man named Christophe, discovering a group of zombies gathered around a black flame and becoming trapped in a flooded chamber with a couple before barely escaping. "The Black Flame" features Ned, who visits Skull House seeking an old pirate boat rumored to be hidden there; he plans to murder his Auntie to claim her business, but the supernatural forces in the house turn against him, resulting in his poisoning and death within its walls.
