Rick Remender and Eric Nguyen's Strange Girl roars into its second issue with a cover that puts a grinning, goggle-wearing redhead front and center, tearing through a burning cityscape on a heavy motorcycle with a hulking, monstrous passenger riding behind her. High above them, a mechanical creature streaks across a fiery orange sky, hinting at the chaotic world these two are navigating together. Nguyen's linework crackles with kinetic energy, and Joëlle Comtois's scorched palette gives the whole scene an urgency that makes this 2005 Image series immediately hard to put down.
