“The Face in the Atom-Bomb Cloud!”

In "The Face in the Atom-Bomb Cloud!", scientist Tod White is flung through time with no control, chasing answers across centuries—only to find that in the distant year 3087, he’s already a legend. Written by Gardner Fox and illustrated by Carmine Infantino, with inks by Joe Giella and lettering by Gaspar Saladino, this 1962 Strange Adventures tale blends sci-fi mystery and time-bending intrigue. The cover, by Murphy Anderson, captures the eerie moment of a face emerging from a nuclear cloud—just one of the many enigmas in this classic time-travel story.
