Deadpool, Weasel, Kane, Vanessa and Slayback converge on Tolliver's treasure. During a wild free for all fight, Tolliver's Zero unit is activated and negates all weapons in the room, which includes Slayback. Zero is close to wiping out Deadpool as well, but the merc proves he has a sensitive side by healing an injured Copycat, even though she is in love with another man.
