Strange #190
In "Guet-apens," James—newly relocated to New York City and starting a fresh job—soon realizes the move was no coincidence. His old adversary, Jerome Jaxon, has orchestrated the setup through Delphine Courtney, who’s been assembling a team of mutants known as Omega Flight. Written, drawn, and inked by John Byrne, with colors by Andy Yanchus, this 1985 issue features a cover by Jean Frisano that captures the tension of a trap sprung.
In "Guet-apens," James, newly settled in New York City with a promising new job, begins to suspect something is off—until he realizes the entire move was a carefully laid trap by his long-time foe, Jerome Jaxon. Through the enigmatic Delphine Courtney, Jaxon has been assembling a powerful team of mutants known as Omega Flight, and James is now at the heart of their design.
When a gamma radiation experiment goes awry, Langkowski transforms into Sasquatch for the first time—unprepared, untested, and suddenly very large. Before he can process the change, Hudson arrives, eager to enlist the newly transformed beast for Department H.
