Red Hawk must stop a terrible monster terrorizing the Cheyenne hunting lands—a massive armored creature that emerged from the earth itself and seems immune to every weapon the warriors can throw at it. Working with his companion Bigfoot, Red Hawk devises an ingenious trap using blankets and the canyon terrain to outsmart the beast where brute force has failed. It's a thrilling test of cunning and courage against a prehistoric terror.
When gold is discovered in worthless Skelton Canyon, the townspeople of Sawtooth Junction rush to buy claims from the smooth-talking "Slick" Sheldon—but Steve Adams suspects the whole thing is a con. After exposing the swindle and narrowly escaping death, Steve becomes Straight Arrow and devises a clever plan to turn the tables on Sheldon and his gang, using their own greed against them.
