“Unforeseen”

The Kollective has apparently made a bold tactical choice — the cover by Jim Starlin (pencils) and Rob Hunter (inks) shows Lobo locked in ferocious, chain-swinging combat with a blond-haired white-suited figure against a blazing cosmic backdrop, with what appears to be spacecraft streaking through the starfield behind them. Writer Jim Starlin and artist Yvel Guichet bring their talents to this September 2013 New 52 chapter, titled "Unforeseen," which already sounds like a promise kept. If you've ever wanted to see the Main Man dropped into the middle of a Stormwatch story as the Kollective's ultimate weapon, this cover makes a convincing case that it's exactly as wild as it sounds.
