Part of the long-running Dutch science-fantasy series Storm: De Kronieken van Pandarve, this 2022 installment — "De archivaris van het licht" — arrives with a cover by Romano Molenaar that immediately draws the eye: a muscular hero and a red-haired companion ride atop a massive, dark creature soaring through swirling golden skies, with further flying beasts visible in the turbulent distance. Molenaar's linework captures both the vast scale of Pandarve's world and the urgency of two figures clinging on against the wind. Written by Rob van Bavel and brought to life with color by Digikore Studios, it's a handsome entry in one of the Netherlands' most enduring adventure comics.
