# Stevie #4 Synopsis This issue contains teenage adventures featuring the titular character Stevie and his friends Mortie and Mazie. In one story, Stevie attempts an ambitious plant-exchange experiment to impress Mortie's mother, but the magic box trick he performs on Mazie goes awry, transforming her into a bird instead of the intended effect. In another adventure, Stevie joins a girls' athletic team as the "Mud Guard," where comedic mishaps ensue during competition and practice, with the coach ultimately praising the team's hustle and bustle despite the chaos caused by Stevie's participation.
