The third volume of Bourhis and Spiessert's irreverent comedy series delivers another round of cartoon mayhem, with three determined heroes — a slingshot-wielding kid, a blonde sword-bearer in black, and a bare-chested figure clutching a mysterious object — squaring off against a moody castle looming on the hill behind them. A motley supporting cast fills out the scene, from a gangly bird and a bearded fellow to a golden robot-like character, while shadowy creatures lurk in the blue background. Rudy Spiessert's bold, expressive linework keeps the whole absurd ensemble feeling wonderfully energetic and fun.
