Startling Comics #24

This anthology issue features "The Fighting Yank, Super-Patriot" on the cover fighting Japanese forces over a map of the United States, along with additional stories including "Pyroman: America's Blazing Battler." In the Pyroman story, the hero confronts bizarre blue creatures that emerge from a mysterious vapor, ultimately defeating them as soldiers pursue the strange invaders. A western story by Buck Benson titled "Sheriff's Son" follows young Tim Stanton as he pursues a criminal named Hank Waters on behalf of his father the sheriff, proving his worth as a future lawman.
