The five-issue Yavin Vassilika arc reaches its finale with this 2001 Dark Horse closer, and Carlos Meglia's cover makes a fitting send-off — a dynamic collage of scoundrels, aliens, and a fearsome beast crowding the frame, all overlaid with streams of scrolling data that give the whole thing a tense, high-stakes heist feel. A gun-toting human figure holds center stage while a snarling creature looms above and a shadowy, red-eyed figure lurks below, suggesting a crew of very dangerous players converging on the same prize. Mike Kennedy and Meglia clearly saved some energy for the finish line.
