After Anakin is forced into servitude, Queen Miraj of Zygerria crosses paths with Count Dooku, leading to a deadly confrontation that sets off a chain of events. With Dooku eliminating the queen and assigning Asajj Ventress to erase all evidence of the Separatists' involvement, Anakin must escape to find Obi-Wan. Written by Henry Gilroy and Cato Vandrare, with art by Scott Hepburn and Dan Parsons, and colored by Michael E. Wiggam, this 2009 issue features a cover by Brian Kalin O'Connell.

I kampen mot slaveriet har Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi och Ashoka Tano själva blivit slavar. Efter att ha gjort har gjort Anakin till sin personlige livvakt hamnar drottning Miraj av Zygerria på kollisionskurs med greve Dooku. Dooku dödar drottningen och ger Asajj Ventress i uppdrag att döda alla slavar på planeten för att förstöra alla bevis för hans och separatisternas inblandning i slavhandeln. Anakin flyr för att söka upp Obi-Wan.
