Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi #4

Issue four of five in Dark Horse's 1994 Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi series brings "The Saga of Nomi Sunrider" to a dramatic moment captured in Dave Dorman's richly painted cover. A heavily armed figure confronts an imposing Hutt crime lord, while a fanged reptilian creature lurks menacingly in the foreground beside a glowing lantern — the whole scene radiating danger and grim atmosphere. It's a compelling chapter in this early era of Star Wars Expanded Universe storytelling, with Dorman's cover painting doing a fine job of setting a tense, shadowy tone.
