Star Wars Shattered Empire #2

Part of Marvel's "Journey to Star Wars: The Force Awakens" publishing initiative, this 2016 Dutch edition from Dark Dragon Books presents the second chapter of Shattered Empire with a cover by Marco Checchetto that commands attention. Dominating the image is a looming Stormtrooper helmet rendered in stark white and silver, while X-wings and other Rebel and Imperial spacecraft streak across a chaotic, explosion-lit battlefield below. It's a striking collision of scale — the Empire's faceless soldiers towering over the desperate, scrappy energy of the Rebellion — and Checchetto's crisp linework and cool palette give the whole scene a cinematic charge.
