“[The Battle of Jabiim, Part 4 of 4]: Floodgates”

In "The Battle of Jabiim, Part 4 of 4: Floodgates," Anakin Skywalker faces an impossible choice as Jabiim crumbles under Separatist forces. With Obi-Wan missing and every other Jedi fallen, Anakin must decide whether to stand and fight with the loyal Jabiimi or sacrifice the few remaining troops to save more lives. Written by Haden Blackman and illustrated by Brian Ching, with inks by Victor Llamas, colors by Joe Wayne, and letters by Michael David Thomas, this pivotal issue captures the weight of command in the darkest hour. The cover by Jan Duursema perfectly frames the storm of war and sacrifice.

The planet Jabiim is falling to the Separatists, and the final command rests on the shoulders of Anakin Skywalker. Obi-Wan is missing in action, and all of Anakin's fellow Jedi are dead. The honorable thing to do would be to fight to the last man alongside the loyalist Jabiimi. The smart thing would be to save as many of his remaining troops as possible and retreat.
