Star Wars: Darth Vader #15

Part of Marvel's sweeping War of the Bounty Hunters crossover, this 2021 issue brings "The Assassin's Choice" to the pages of Greg Pak and Raffaele Ienco's Darth Vader run. Aaron Kuder's cover is all tension and crimson atmosphere — a heavily armed, caped assassin dives through a hail of blaster fire, blaster in one hand and a bladed weapon in the other, while the imposing visage of Darth Vader looms large above it all against a swirling dark backdrop. It's a striking composition that frames the deadly stakes at the heart of this chapter perfectly.
