Star Wars: Darth Vader #12

Han Solo levels his blaster with cool defiance while Chewbacca stands armed and ready at his back — and looming over them both, rendered in imposing shadow, is the unmistakable helmet and outstretched hand of Darth Vader, framing the duo as if they're already in his grasp. Aaron Kuder's cover sets the tension of this "War of the Bounty Hunters" prelude beautifully, the teal-lit carbonite glow adding an ominous edge to the standoff. With Greg Pak writing and Guiu Vilanova on art, issue #12 promises to be a charged chapter in one of 2021's most ambitious Star Wars crossover events.
