Part five of "The Path of the Righteous" arrives in this 2024 Marvel installment, and Björn Barends' cover makes the threat feel visceral — a cybernetically compromised figure is seized by mechanical hands while a sea of droids with glowing violet eyes closes in from every direction. Among them, a golden protocol-style droid looms prominently, armed and unsettling, as the purple-eyed horde fills the background with an overwhelming sense of dread. With Ethan Sacks writing and Davide Tinto on art, this Dark Droids tie-in chapter looks like a genuinely tense corner of the Star Wars galaxy where being outnumbered by corrupted machines is very much the point.
