Marvel's Star Wars #59 drops Han Solo into a tense standoff straight out of a frontier western — cover artist Jamal Campbell frames him in a wide, ready stance on a dusty open plain, facing down a dark-robed figure in the foreground whose outstretched hand hovers dangerously close to a holstered blaster. Debris scatters through the sun-bleached sky behind Han, giving the whole scene a charged, volatile energy that fits "The Escape Part IV" perfectly. With Kieron Gillen writing and Angel Unzueta on interior art, this 2019 installment promises the kind of high-stakes tension the series does so well.
