Part of Marvel's 2024 Dark Droids crossover, this issue of Star Wars carries a quietly unsettling promise: "First, It Comes for the Metal… Then, It Comes for Everything Else." Stephen Segovia's cover delivers on that dread — a bald, glowing-eyed figure strides forward through a cloud of debris with fists clenched, while Lando Calrissian looks on in alarm and Princess Leia struggles to rise from the rubble, with what appears to be Chewbacca's hand visible at the edge of the chaos. Charles Soule and artist Madibek Musabekov bring "Droid Disaster" to life, and with the Rebellion's closest allies caught in the wreckage, the stakes feel very personal indeed.
