Part of Marvel's 2021 "War of the Bounty Hunters" crossover event, this prelude issue sets the stage for a galaxy-wide scramble over Han Solo's carbonite-frozen fate. The cover — penciled by Carlo Pagulayan and inked by Jason Paz — places Luke Skywalker at its center, lightsaber blazing, with Chewbacca roaring at his side, R2-D2 and C-3PO nearby, and a green-skinned alien and a blue assassin droid flanking the group, while armed, hooded figures close in from both sides and a screen displaying Boba Fett's helmet looms ominously in the background. It's a tense, beautifully composed standoff that makes "The Hunt for Han Solo" feel every bit as urgent as the title promises.
