“Children of Chaos”

DC's long-running TNG series reaches issue #59 with "Children of Chaos," featuring cover art by Jason Palmer and Jerome Moore that presents two Federation officers in close-up — a steely, older man dominating the foreground with a younger, more anxious crewman behind him — while the familiar silhouette of the Enterprise glides past a planetary body in the background. Down in the corner, a red-shirted figure appears to be in the grip of a large, armored alien, hinting at the danger this story's title promises. Friedman and Skelton bring their talents to the interior, making this 1994 issue a solid entry in one of DC's most enduring licensed series.
