L'Rell continues to tell Voq the story of T'Kuvma, how he returned to Qo'nos for his sister's wedding to find that J'Ula has seized control of House Girjah and had all their brothers killed. T'Kuvma agrees to relinquish his claim to House Girjah in exchange for possession of their family's ancestral ship. T'Kuvma, Khel, and their crew use the ship to leave Qo'nos to seek a beacon of Kahless that they will use to unite all Klingon houses.
