There, he confronts a growing rift with his sister J'Ula, whose dreams for the empire no longer align with his own.

In "The Light of Kahless [Part 3]," L'Rell recounts T'Kuvma’s fateful return to Qo'nos, where he discovers his sister J'Ula has seized control of House Girjah and eliminated their brothers. With a desperate bargain, T'Kuvma secures the family’s ancestral ship, setting course with Khel and their crew to find a beacon of Kahless meant to unite all Klingon houses.

In "The Light of Kahless [Part 4]," L'Rell recounts to Voq how T'Kuvma rallied Klingons of lower ranks through the legacy of Kahless, only to face resistance when he warns the High Council of Federation encroachment. With the beacon of Kahless now a guiding sign, T'Kuvma presses forward, determined to unite all Klingons against a growing threat—though his path is far from certain.
