Star Trek: Boldly Go #12
In "Whom Gods Destroy! Part Two," Kirk and Eurydice are trapped on Antos IV as Captain Garth, wielding his shape-shifting powers, manipulates events from the shadows. With Garth impersonating Kirk to lure the USS Endeavour into a deadly trap, Sulu and Bones grow uneasy as the real captain and Eurydice’s mother plot their escape—just as the real Kirk and his allies race to stop the confrontation before it’s too late. Written by Mike Johnson and illustrated by Megan Levens, with colors by Marissa Louise and letters by AndWorld Design, this issue’s cover by George Caltsoudas captures the tension of a captain’s identity under siege.
