“Action Girl”

"Action Girl" introduces Paula, a real-life tomboy raised with three brothers, who’s best known as the globe-trotting secret agent Lucy Moon on a wildly popular American TV series. Tired of being seen only as the "girl who could do everything," she takes a break from the spotlight—only to find herself mistaken for a secretary by a charming archaeologist during a mix-up at a train station. With art by Juan Alonso Villanueva and a cover by Giovanni Tedesco, this 1976 D.C. Thomson tale captures a quiet moment of romance and self-discovery beneath the glamour of fame.

Raised with three brothers, Paula was something of a tomboy which made her perfect for the role of British secret agent Lucy Moon on a television series that had taken America by storm. But she was exhausted with the schedule and tired of being treated as the "girl who could do everything" by her agent. When she accidentally gets off the train at the wrong stop on the way to Chicago, she meets an archaeologist who mistakes her for a secretary he has hired. Soon Paula finds she is in love with the archaeologist who doesn't know that she is a famous television star.
