Glenda was a thief and always had been. In a boutique along with her mother, she is caught in the act and tries to dispose of the evidence, but it accidentally lands in her mother's purse. When they meet the manager, he lets them off. Afterwards, Glenda is determined to become a permanent part of the manager's life and over time manipulates him into proposing to her. Her past catches up to her when the store clerk who originally caught her stealing tries to blackmail her.
