Wendy, a famous rock/folk singer, is fed up with the rat race. She prefers working on her advanced journalism correspondence course, using her real name. Her idol is Bill, a top reporter who normally covers international affairs, but now has been assigned to interview Wendy. Disguising herself to escape her rabid fans, they bump into each other at the back entrance of her hotel. She recognizes him immediately, but Bill has no idea she is the star he has been assigned to interview.
