Dulcie was Sally's room-mate until she married Roberto. At the wedding, Sally met Dulcie's brother, George. Sally enjoys his company, but Dulcie had warned her that he was not the one-girl type. Sally gets a new room-mate who, like Dulcie before her, was an air hostess. A month later Erica tells Sally that she has met George at a stopover in Rome and had fallen in love with him. Two days later Erica tells Sally that her relationship with George is over. Not wanting to talk about it, Erica goes out that night and is involved in a fatal car crash.
