Eddie and Ray, a couple of sailors in the merchant navy, go out with June and Cathy, who live together in a houseboat. Cathy and Ray hit it off and he tells her he wants to marry her when he gets back from his next voyage. But when the ship returns, Eddie tells Cathy that Ray left the ship in Bordeaux to marry a French girl. Eddie starts spending more time with Cathy and June becomes jealous.
