Desperate to get away from her blackmailing neighbor, Jackie runs into the street and is hit by a car. With no one to turn to, she pretends to have amnesia. The driver who hit her takes an interest in her and offers her a job away from London, but before she can leave her blackmailer seems to be murdered in front of her flat.
