Heidi is the envy of the girls at the fashion salon where she works due to the attention she receives from the boss's son. He wants her to marry him and her friend thinks she's being stupid because men of his sort "don't grow on trees". Heidi was thinking about that while taking a long country walk when she encounters a parachuting star of the "Falling Stars" air circus stuck in a tree. She falls for Roy, but a female member of the group lets Heidi know that she plans to keep Roy to herself. Heidi takes sky-diving lessons so she can join the "Falling Stars".
