In "No-Good Guy," nurse Kate is sent from Doronton to New York on a delicate mission: to uncover whether Miss Craig’s estranged nephew Peter has turned his life around—or if old habits die hard. With her heart set on Peter, Kate must navigate a web of suspicion, all while the quiet confidence of Ron Lumsden’s art brings the emotional tension to life. Kate was the nurse and companion to wealthy old Miss Craig, who had two nephews. Alan ran her department store in Doronton and was dating Kate. Peter lived in New York and Miss Craig had washed her hands of him years ago after he did not deny that he was stealing money from her. Now she wants to know if Peter is making money honestly before she leaves him any money in her will. After a serious heart attack, Miss Craig sends Kate to New York to determine how Peter earns his living. Kate falls for Peter, but evidence seems to suggest he is still dishonest.
