Karen is grateful to her uncle for taking her in seven years earlier after her parents' death in a car crash. But he realizes that without Karen's designs for his fashion salon, he wouldn't be able to stay in business. When Karen falls in love with an American photographer and plans to follow him back to America, her uncle tries to break them up with the help of an ambitious former model.
