Returning from a holiday in London to the hospital in Wales where Megan works, at the last moment a young man boards the plane and takes the seat beside her. She realizes he is injured in the shoulder from what appears to be a bullet wound. When the plane crash lands in the fog, no one else is seriously hurt, but the stranger suffers a concussion. At the hospital, he claims to have lost his memory. Megan is the only person he trusts, but he tells her it would put her in danger to tell her who he is.
