Maggie falls for a young policeman. But her younger brother gets involved in a robbery at the tobacconist shop where she works and a policeman is shot by his accomplice. With her brother's fingerprints on the gun and the gun in the possession of his accomplice, Maggie is forced to lie to the police to protect her brother.
