Wendy's plan to become the new secretary to the road manager for Chris Elliot and the Jets is successful and she becomes the group's mascot. Her job gives her a chance to be near her heart-throb, Chris himself, but Chris wants to marry a glamorous singer. Dana realizes that Wendy wants Chris for herself, but doesn't want anything to stand in the way of her career and being associated with Chris helps her career. Wendy decides to play with fire and does everything possible to bring Chris and Dana together, hoping Chris will see Dana's real motives.
